Team 3484 was founded in 2010 for the 2011 season at Marysville High School, located in Marysville, Ohio.

Where Does "Short Circuit" Come From?
While preparing for our rookie season, our founding mentors wished they had the ability to learn everything instantly like Johnny5 in the hit 1986 movie, Short Circuit. From that moment, the only name that fit our team was Short Circuit.
Team Organization
Our team consists of mentors and students working toward building our robot for competition each year and growing and expanding our team. In order to do this we break up into subgroups in order to maintain organization and communication. Team members have an option to not only build the robot, but contribute to the team in other ways. For example, we have teams like chassis and game device, but also teams like marketing and business. Each subgroup also has a team lead that organizes and brings the team through accomplishing tasks.
